The Sheltie is a "watch" dog, not a guard dog; nor is it visually frightening. It will bark at intruders, but after giving warning, may either retreat or escort them though your house.

Sadona is our precious sheltie from KM Shelties.  She is a testimonial to the care and knowledge Kim and her family give to every litter her dogs produce. Sadona ‘s behavior and intelligence never ceases to amaze us, and our family and friends. She is beautiful, well-behaved, loves agility, and is gifted in cuddles.  Kim, I thank you for sharing her us with and for the care you gave Sadona when she had her puppies.  She is a sweetie. Thank you, Carol

Thanks for sending shot!     Kim

Anyway, we love Elsie so much, she is such a character!  I'm still very temped to adopt a male sheltie of our own someday.  So if anything really special presents, let me know.      I hope you had a nice trip, Chris

We were horse showing again last weekend, and of course Elsie was quite a "star".  I think I'm practicing for the grandma thing.  I hope all is well with you!    Chris

Hi Kim, I was talking to _____* today and she mentioned that she had decided to contact you about becoming a "Sheltie owner". Mark and I were the ones to recommend your line to her because we have been so delighted with our "Abby". (She's the sweetest dog! We absolutely love her!! I've sent one of her "puppy pictures" to you, here--not sure I shared this one with you before.)

She* tells me you do have two new litters in-house--Congratulations! I hope all is all well with you and your family (two-legged and four-legged!).

Take care, Marcia

It was a wonderful experience getting a puppy from KM Shelties.  Kim was warm, honest and very helpful in our numerous phone conversations about the puppy and shelties in general.  Getting the puppy from Michigan to our home in California was a logistical "project" which Kim was very helpful with, including making the long drive from her home to the airport twice as the airlines cancelled last minute on the first attempt.

The puppy is just adorable, with nice form, has a great outgoing, eager to please personality, is exceptionally smart and is already a perfect little "showman".

Thank you,

Tara

We welcome your inquiry about the shelties.

Our current pair of Shelties did come from Kim in Scottville and we are so happy with them.  (We have had 5 Shelties.)

Kim raises the pups with her family so they are very socialized before they come home with you.  Our puppies slept thru the whole night the first day home (if you've ever had to get up nightly to let one out, you'll appreciate that!)

We became aware of Kim when we adopted a Sheltie whose owner could no longer keep him, and he was originally from Kim.  He was very precious too.

None of our shelties have had the eye gene, but I am aware of the disease. Karlene

Hi Kim,
How are things there? Tiki Bear is doing very well and is the best dog I have ever owned... He is wonderful!

These are from about an hour ago, during our daily lunch playtime... : )

Hi Kim - I periodically look at your sight to see what's going on!  We bought Astro from you in 2005 (one of Sonic and Skittle's pup). The pups you have are always so beautiful - Astro is still the best dog EVER!!!  We love him to pieces!  We may be interested in another some day down the road!

Kim,

We wanted to write and let you know how much we love our Sheltie puppy. We cannot imagine life without her. She has been the best puppy. She was so easy to potty train. Crate training was easy too. She still loves to sleep in her crate even though we leave the door open now.

She rarely barks. In fact she loves visitors and attention. Which she gets allot of. The neighborhood children love to come over and play with her. People stop us all the time to talk about her. How beautiful she is and how well behaved. Of course we agree. Her color headed white coloring is simply stunning. She has such a sweet face that it melts your heart.

We have been Collie owners in the past, but now have been converted into lifetime Sheltie lovers. Thank you for being a caring and responsible breeder. When the time is right we will be back for another Sheltie!

Kim,  Absolutely - do you remember saying that you thought she would really blossom and come out when she got here? Well she has more than exceeded my expectations and that's after only 4 days ..  that I'm really thrilled with her

- not that I don't love all my puppies - I do - there is nothing more rewarding than watching a scared hurt animal start to trust and  realize that everything is ok - but this little girl is so special.

We already have a bond and I'm so happy I have her in my life.  This is a true testament to your care and breeding of your dogs - can't say that about too many - needless to say she is a welcome addition and while I can never replace ....- Sadie is filling that hole very quickly .. so, thanks again and I hope you stay in touch .. If you have a puppy from us and would do a nice write up we will ad it here. As you can tell I,
respect or privacy and do not put where you are from or your name if you do not want it up.
Thanks so much makes my efforts feel worth it as a breeder when I hear back from you.
